Role at Te Kupenga: Senior Researcher – The Nathaniel Centre for Bioethics
Greg started working for the Nathaniel Centre for Bioethics in 2021 in connection with developing Te Kupenga’s course, TH505: Issues in Christian Ethics. Prior to completing a PhD in theology and law (2019), Greg worked in several non-profit organisations, including the Red Cross, Christian Solidarity Worldwide, International Bridges to Justice, the National Council for Civil Liberties, and the Innocence Project New Zealand. His previous publications discuss the theologies of Thomas Aquinas, Thomas Traherne, Søren Kierkegaard and others, as well as the philosophical anthropology of U.S. capital punishment. Greg’s current research focuses on issues at the interface of legal philosophy, theology, and our responsibilities towards the environment and/or non-human animals.
