With an extensive background in youth and young adult ministry, Chris has a keen interest in the faith formation of lay Catholics. Chris’s doctoral study focused on Catholic religious identity among young adults in New Zealand. A key finding pointed to a seeming lack of connection between contemporary Catholic faith and every day life, an interface that drives Chris work in pastoral theology. Chris is married to Veronika and together they live in the Hutt Valley. They have three children.
