The well-being of our students is our utmost priority and every lecturer and staff member is involved. CTC is a whānau and we strive to create a family-like environment where students feel at home. Our staff and lecturers are welcoming and approachable.
Welcome to a new semester of studies at our Auckland Campus!
Here is some information that both new and returning Level 7 students might find useful during your studies.
Student representation:
You can contact your student representatives with your concerns, ideas, suggestions, questions, and any other matter of your student life.
Gerson Badayos is the CTC Student Representative for 2024. So for academic and student questions, suggestions, or initiatives, you can email him.
Academic support:
Your first point of contact for academic support is always your lecturer. We are here to help you and support you, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or are having problems with any aspect of your courses.
However, you have also other support channels that you might want to use.
Mark Hangartner, our librarian, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Contact him if you need any guidance with library or research.
If you need help with your essays’ structure and grammar you can contact Catherine Lipski for support, particularly if English is your second language.
For any concern, complaint, or problem, contact John Evangelista, Dean or Fr. Merv Duffy, Assistant Dean.
Pastoral Care:
If you need support or have concerns you can contact Brendan Daly if you are an international student; or Dr John Evangelista, if you are a domestic student. As your Pastoral Care representatives, we are happy to hear you, guide you, and support you during your time at CTC.
Contact with UNDA:
If you have any troubles with UNDA (University of Notre Dame Australia), with things like Blackboard, UNDA Library access, enrolment, etc., your person of contact is Mr George Stanton, Registry and Student Support Officer.
Every staff member at CTC is here to help you and support you. We all want to see you succeed in your studies. So please, do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything.
Have a great semester!
